In the early 90's, Will had been working with a local screenprinting company which was having to contract out their embroidery jobs to out-of-town and many times, out-of-state companies because there was no one "on the beach" who could handle the large commercial jobs. He saw an opportunity and he & Mary Lou opened the doors of Outer Banks Embroidery in April of 1995. With the support of the local businesses and municipalities, we were able to establish a successful Outer Banks business, which in turn, allowed us to do our part by giving local people job opportunities. Through good economic times and bad, our customers have remained loyal and we appreciate that and the community that we live and work in.
